The Nathan C. Splant Foundation was founded in 2007 as a public charity foundation.

The Nathan C. Splant Foundation is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to helping local families affected by prematurity.  Through the Foundation's assistance and grant giving programs, we seek to facilitate greater community awareness and improve the conditions of those born too early and too small.

In addition to its commitment to directly helping families, the Foundation also supports prematurity research.

Special Thanks

The Nathan C. Splant Foundation would not have been possible without the dedication and tireless commitment of family and friends.

Special thanks to Rhonda and Jim Parkinson, Joanne Pritchard, Matthew Splant, Dianne Boderek, Jim & Joan Flood, Shannon Nassenstein, Amanda Parkinson, and Chelsea Parkinson for believing in our cause and making it all happen.  Many thanks to Desiree Jamroz for her inspirational spirit.

How iGive Works

Giving Works Program

The Foundation has establsiehd an account as part of the eBay Giving Works Program.  You can help the Foundation in three ways:

  •  Buy on eBay:  Every time you purchase an item listed on our speical page, the seller will donate a percentage of the final sale price directly to the Foundation.
  • Sell on eBay:  Do you have a unique or valueable item that you no longer want or use?  Sell them on eBay and designate a percentage of the selling price to go directly to the Foundation.  You determine the percentage....from 10% to 100%.  There are buyers for everything from iPhones and video games, to collectibles and gift certificate packages.
  • Donate items to sell:  Do you have special items that you think would sell well on eBay, but don't have the means to post them?  Contact us at info@ncsplantfoundation.org.

The Foundation is also participating in a recycling fundraiser by collecting empty printer cartridges.

This recycling program is a way for us to raise money and help the environment at the same time by reducing the amount of non-biodegradable waste in our landfills.

Volunteering

Volunteers are an important and crucial part of the success of the Nathan C. Splant Foundation and they add a valued dimension to our cause.  The Foundation is always in need of caring, educated individuals volunteering with us to "help children and families in our community", and we are very grateful for everything they do!

There is not single portrait of a volunteer.  Chances are, we have just the right assignment for you, whether you have a lot of time to share, or just a little.

We recognize that the achievement of our mission can be best accomplished with the active participation of citizens of our community.  Volunteers contribute with pride to the success of the organization by making a difference in the lives of those we help each day.  We have the talents, skills and potential each volunteer brings and we believe in taking an active role in promoting volunteerism through the community.

Find out how you can get involved, please email us at info@ncsplantfoundation.org or go to www.nwivolunteer.org.  You can also call us directly at 219.365.5800.
